Mieko Mintz for fall is steeped in the deep jewel tones of autumn and winter. She uses flower patterns to mimic falling leaves and root patterns emblematic of cooler weather. Instead of stitching with vintage sari fabrics, she has instead devised and designed her own fabrics for this delivery. This additional layer of personal touch to her traditional Kantha has allowed for a delightful play of pattern, color and texture that is just so centrally Mieko.
