Inspired by traditional and modern art, Yeshi C. Doma founded Tibet Home in 1998 as an ode to continuing ancient Tibetan weaving techniques. Luxurious, hand-spun bamboo silk is the hallmark of this home goods marvel. Every step of the company’s process — from spinning to hand-knotting — is conducted exclusively by the hands of Tibetan artisans in Nepal.
Tibet Home produces and specializes in custom designed Tibetan handwoven rugs & accessories. The integrity of their unique textile is evident in the finished product, which is plush and velvety to the touch with a mesmerizing sheen and color depth typically seen in silk fabrication. Tibet Home’s meticulously stylized pillows are exceptionally durable in their density and the lustrous wool they are made of becomes more beautiful with time.
