Elegant, minimalist clothing brand Dušan is known for loose fitting well-cut silhouettes. Founded by Serbian-born Milan-based Dušan Paunovic in 1999, Dušan creates tightly edited collections that seamlessly transition between seasons. Dušan works with the underlying principle that this is a manner of dressing that is never in or out.
“It’s understated but molto elegante,” says Dušan. Before launching his own line, Dušan worked for for Serbian-American designer Zoran Ladicorbic, where he honed his minimalistic aesthetic.
Dušan works with high-quality textiles sourced from Italy and Japan and all of his pieces are made in Italy. Textile research is a big part of Dušan’s process and many materials in the line are recreated from archival fabrics to achieve a higher-quality that is harder to find today.
