Ara Collection takes pride in its quality and workmanship. Each piece is created by hand at the family workshop in Bodrum, Turkey. Run by Cuneyt Akdolu and his brother Ali, Ara Collection began decades ago with two brothers and a small jeweler’s bench in Bodrum, Turkey.
Inspiration for the collection comes from the rich history of ancient Anatolian civilizations and the beauty of the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas. Hailing from a long line of artisans, Cuneyt and Ali use ancient jewelry-making techniques to create singular designs.
Some members of Ara Collection’s team have been working with the family for decades. “They became very good specialists,” says Cuneyt. So much so that one person in the workshop only makes rings, while another only makes necklaces, and another works exclusively as a stone setter.
