Sales Associate for Wild Life

Wild Life, a specialty boutique focused on wares for the home, seeks a Sales Associate to join our dynamic and creative team. This is an opportunity to interact with a fascinating clientele from around the country, learn about global craft at various levels, and help people infuse their homes and lifestyles with personality and beauty.

This position is located in-person at our storefront on the Santa Fe Plaza, alongside our two sister stores, Santa Fe Dry Goods and Workshop. Our business philosophy prizes beauty, sustainability and design integrity over all things mass-produced, pollutive and superfluous.

Our ideal candidate for this role is professional, intellectual and service-oriented. They should be sincere, enthusiastic and have a persnickety attention to the unseen details that comprise great experiences. In addition to working as a stylist for their customers, they have an innate desire to advocate for their teammates and the stores.

Must have a background in building relationships, managing all aspects of service and engaging clients in an entertaining and intellectual way. An existing knowledge of the designers we carry is a plus, and a passion for art, architecture, and/or fashion is celebrated and encouraged by our team.

Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Santa Fe Dry Goods, Workshop and Wild Life are seeking an experienced shipper to join our dynamic team. This position reports to our Shipping Manager and works alongside a larger shipping, receiving and inventory team servicing our three storefronts and our eCommerce platform.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring orders are complete, packaged, shipped and delivered in a timely manner
  • Handling and packaging fragile ceramics, glassware and pottery safely and efficiently
  • Directing the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
  • Inspecting labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders
  • Communicating with UPS, FedEx and International shipping services
  • Reporting activities, concerns and potential arenas for growth to the management team.

Requirements:

  • Shipping experience with merchandise such as high fashion, pottery, fine arts, glassware, or ceramics
  • Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
  • Ability to learn new software programs quickly
  • Ability to contemplate and change packaging in accordance with what is being shipped
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Proactive communicator and problem-solver
  • High attention to detail
  • Willing to operate cross-departmentally to support shipping and receiving
  • Available to work Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week
