Contract Graphic Designer

We are hiring for a contract graphic designer to conceptualize and develop projects for print layouts, approximately 12-15 hours a month. In business for 30 years, our organization consists of three stores on the plaza, Santa Fe Dry Goods, Workshop & Wild Life, as well as our expanding website. We are multi-faceted, dynamic and ever-changing, and as a result looking for a very flexible, intellectual and execution-oriented person to join our accomplished team. Applicants should have a minimum of three years experience, be proactive, professional and have tremendous attention to detail. A great work ethic is essential.

Design Skill Requirements

  • Proficient in Adobe applications including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator 
  • Intermediate to Advanced Photoshop knowledge and skills to complete digital illustrations from multiple images/sources
  • Ability to work a project through phases from concept to rough layouts to final layouts.
  • Knowledge of pre-press formats and specifications to properly prepare press-ready art layout for submission to printers

Additional Requirements

  • Relevant education degree/experience (graphic design, illustration design, print)
  • Professional experience in a similar position
  • Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable receiving creative critique and direction
  • Follow and adhere to brand aesthetic and guidelines
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment

This position is focused on working with existing print marketing materials and developing new materials for future use. It requires attentiveness and an ability to quickly turn around finished products for printing. Full Time Photographer

We are hiring for a full-time in house professional photographer. Applicants should have a minimum of three years experience, be well versed in a studio environment, have experience working with and directing models and be skilled in editing/post-production.  

Requirements:

  • Comfortable receiving creative critique and direction 
  • Proficient in programs such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture ONE
  • Eye for detail
  • Experienced with Studio Lighting
  • Follow and adhere to the branding guidelines for finished photographs
  • Personable, team player
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment

This position is focused on photographing product for the “Santa Fe Dry Goods” and “Workshop” portions of our website. Full Time Workshop Sales Associate

Workshop is looking for a seasoned Sales Professional with a minimum of 5 years in fashion or art sales. We have been in business on the Plaza for 30 years, and this store has been open and actively growing for six. In combination with our sister stores Santa Fe Dry Goods and Wild Life, located next door, and our expanding website, the business has become multi-faceted, dynamic and ever-changing.

As a result, we are looking for a very flexible, intellectual and execution-oriented person to join an accomplished sales team. They should be sincere, flexible, professional, and have tremendous attention to detail. A great work ethic is essential. Must have experience building clientele, engaging clients in an entertaining and intellectual way, managing all aspects of service. The ideal candidate is an advocate for both their team members and the store’s clients. They are perceptive, thoughtful, proactive and empowered to continue to make a change in the organization. Passion for art, architecture and fashion is essential. Good computer and reporting skills are also important.
