Assistant Web Customer Service Manager

Santa Fe Dry Goods/Workshop/WildLife is looking for a seasoned Assistant Web Customer Service Manager with minimum 5 years experience in management and 5 years in fashion or art sales. 

We are looking for a very flexible, intellectual and execution-oriented person to lead and be part of a sales and customer service team. They should be sincere, professional, and have tremendous attention to detail. A great work ethic is essential. Must have experience building clientele, engaging clients in an entertaining and intellectual way, managing all aspects of service. The ideal candidate is an advocate for both their team members and the store’s clients. They are perceptive, thoughtful, proactive, and have existing knowledge of our designers. Passion for art, architecture, and fashion is essential. Good computer and reporting skills are also important.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

– Answering incoming calls from clients
– Developing your own book of business and helping others do so as well
– Driving monthly goals for the business
– Establishing processes to log customer requests, manage special orders, etc.
– Completing daily reports, unpacking returns and completing refunds
– Checking outbound merchandise, managing quality in shipping
– Coordinating outbound campaigns with Marketing
– Providing website feedback and doing some work in WordPress

This is an opportunity to become part of a close-knit team of managers who are taking a creative and proactive approach to a retail business that competes in the specialty fashion industry on a national level. You must be able to work at least one weekend day and between 40-50 hrs per week.

Floor Sales Manager

Santa Fe Dry Goods & Workshop are looking for a seasoned Floor Sales Manager to join our dynamic Sales team. Our ideal candidate brings with them a minimum of 5 years experience directly managing employees and 5 years operating within a fashion or art sales environment.

We are looking for someone flexible, intellectual and energetic to lead and be part of our sales teams in Santa Fe Dry Goods and Workshop. They should be sincere, professional, and maintain a tremendous attention to detail. A great work ethic is essential to thriving in our fast-paced environment. Must have experience building clientele, maintaining retail displays, engaging clients in an entertaining and intellectual way, and managing all aspects of service. A passion for art, architecture, and fashion is central to what we do here.


Daily Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a 6-8 person sales staff; managing the floor schedule, optimizing the teams, managing lunches, breaks and vacations, building trust and managing inter-staff disputes.
  • Floating across Workshop & Santa Fe Dry Goods to optimize staff interactions with their clients, and filling in on the floor as needed.
  • Optimizing each salesperson’s individual performance: supporting and energizing their daily routine, running reports on their clients purchasing behavior and contact with the company to determine client needs and wants, helping them to come up with strategies to deepen their client relationships, seeking ways to leverage company efforts or information to share with clients in a meaningful way.
  • Driving sales and energy within the stores; maintaining displays, coordinating new product introductions and deliveries with Inventory and Marketing, and continuously reviewing each store for temperature, music, cleanliness and vibe.
  • Coordinating all in-store efforts with other company teams; managing weekly, monthly and annual outreach campaigns with the sales staff.

Inventory Manager

Workshop, Santa Fe Dry Goods, Wild Life and santafedrygoods.com all come together to offer simple but beautifully crafted clothing, accessories, shoes, and home goods. We have been in business on the Plaza for 26 years and have expanded from Santa Fe Dry Goods to have Workshop, Wild Life and a large web business (santafedrygoods.com). In support of these businesses, we are looking for an Inventory Manager.

This individual should be very organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in handling all components of the inventory process from input to reporting. They should be sincere, flexible, professional, and have tremendous attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast paced environment is important. Passion for art, architecture, and fashion is essential. Someone with accounting experience is ideal as they will be interfacing with Finance and Reporting.

Daily Tasks Include:
– Inputting product information into our PO system with specific industry information such as stitch details, fabric content, silhouette information
– Pricing merchandise, calculating exchange rates, doing competitive pricing research, completing outbound shipping rate assessments for each item
– Completing a rolling inventory process with a team
– Reviewing margin with the Director of Analysis and Planning
– Developing complex markdown processes across all entities

Requirements:
-Knowledge of the clothing industry
-Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
-Excellent computer skills and writing abilities
-Excellent organizational and communication skills
-Intense attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
-BA required and accounting expertise a plus

We have been in business on the Plaza for 26 years, and this store has been open and actively growing for five. In combination with our sister stores Santa Fe Dry Goods and Wild Life, located next door, and our expanding website, the business has become multi-faceted, dynamic and ever-changing.

As a result, we are looking for a very flexible, intellectual and execution-oriented person to join an accomplished sales team. They should be sincere, professional, and have tremendous attention to detail. A great work ethic is essential. Must have experience building clientele, engaging clients in an entertaining and intellectual way, managing all aspects of service. The ideal candidate is an advocate for both their team members and the store’s clients. They are perceptive, thoughtful, proactive, and have an existing knowledge of and enthusiasm for the designers in the store. Passion for art, architecture, and fashion is essential. Good computer and reporting skills are also important.

Must be able to work at least one weekend day and between 40 hrs per week. The ability to stand for most of the day is essential.
