Ibrigu
In 2014, longtime design consultants Franco Brigulio and Daria Steufer turned their shared love of antique and vintage textiles into a new and sustainable clothing line.
Based in northern Italy, the designers work with reclaimed materials from old garments, silk scarves, and surplus fabrics. At the heart of Ibrigu’s designs are carefully sourced vintage Japanese silk kimonos. Koman style kimonos are unstitched and used as the basis for Ibrigu’s collections. Each series of jackets is created with similar details, colors, and composition but because of the unique nature of the fabric, no two Ibrigu garments are identical.
Ibrigu jackets are constructed with a meticulous eye for detail and high-quality tailoring. The double-breasted kimono jacket has a notched collar, soft lining, and a small slit and slight flare at the cuff. Some of the blazers come with a matching obi belt, in a melding of European and Japanese style. From Ibrigu’s Spring Summer 2026 collection, we’ve received a selection of their bomber jackets and blazers.
What our stylists say about the fit: Ibrigu uses Italian sizing and the cuts vary by silhouette. The blazers are fitted; the bombers run intentionally oversized. We are happy to help you find the right size in store or online.
