Plan C has deep roots in Italian fashion. Founder Carolina Castiglioni’s parents Consuelo and Gianni started Marni in 1994. Carolina worked in the family business developing special projects before launching Plan C in 2018 with the help of her brother Giovanni and father. Carolina’s grandparents also ran a fashion atelier, and Plan C’s Milan studio is in a space that previously housed Carolina’s great grandmother’s fur atelier back in the 1960s.
Known for edgy design, strong color sensibility and uncompromising quality, Plan C is Carolina’s vision for what a modern and independent woman would wear. Unconventional and relaxed, Plan C pieces are sophisticated with a sense of ease. Carolina works with Japanese and Italian materials that she chooses for their technical and tactile qualities.
