Santa Fe Dry Goods, Workshop and Wild Life owner, Shobhan Porter, grew up in a world rich in antiques. From an early age she traveled with her family across both the US and the world in search of unique finds for the Porter’s antique store.
Today, Shobhan’s primary focus is on French and English country antiques and Mexican and silver woodwork. A penchant for the well-loved and well-worn permeates her finds, which range from Yoruba textiles to Baloch saddlebags to Swedish furniture. Simplicity of form, balanced with a rustic refinery, guides her sensibilities in this collection, which invite and transport those who encounter the pieces to another time and place.
Maison de Vacances is a French family company founded by Michèle Fouks in 1995. With a vision ahead of its time, the company began as a tiny shop nestled in the heart of Paris near the Palais Royal gardens. The Maison de Vacances style is for anyone who likes to play with colors without giving up the virtues of the materials: natural linen, cashmere, wool, cotton and velvet.
