Hand-Painted Recycled Metal Butterfly Ornament
Modeled after possibly the most widely recognized of all American butterflies, the monarch butterfly is found throughout the United States, as well as Mexico and Canada. One of it's most notable characteristics is the 3000 mile journey they will make in the fall to their wintering grounds. During the migration tens of thousands will land on a single tree in certain areas along their migratory path. There is great care taken in maintaining a resemblance in morphology, color and attitude to the butterflies that are portrayed, as these are entirely cut, stamped, welded and hand painted, at a workshop in Harare.
