ABOUT THE ARTIST
Trippen
Michael Oehler and designer Claudia Hoess both play with form and negative space in a functional and sculptural manner, producing shoes that adhere to high environmental standards. Trippen obtains exclusive, long-lasting materials like alder, poplar and beech wood through European suppliers and uses only vegetable tanned leather. Design follows function, with Claudia and Michael working together to make sure they have met the four criteria that drive their creativity: ecology, social responsibility, design and the needs of their customers.
