Modeled after the Kinglet who, though barely larger than a hummingbird, can survive –40 degree nights, sometimes huddling together for warmth. Those who create these metal replicas take great care in maintaining a resemblance in morphology, color and attitude to the birds they portray. They are entirely cut, stamped, welded and hand painted, in a workshop in Harare.
