Disa Allsopp was born in London and then raised in Barbados. Today, each piece is still individually handmade in her London studio. Her time spent in Barbados and traveling to East Africa can be seen in her use of gemstones such as golden citrines and rich garnets. Disa’s work is also inspired by the ancient jewelry of the Etruscans, Egyptians, and Greek and Roman civilizations.
