Italian designer Daniele Basta believes that style is an essence of spirit and identity. Born and based in Empoli, Italy, he comes from a family of leather artisans. Daniele began his career as a style consultant before starting his own collection. Working with leather, silver and textile, Daniele has crafted his unique line of hand-crafted bags, jewelry, footwear and clothing. Finished with Daniele’s signature stitching in both metal and thread, with a Daniele Basta bag or a jacket each seam is part of the story. Edges and corners are embellished and clasps become the main feature.

The Guidi tannery was established in 1896 in Pescia, Italy where tanning and shoemaking can be traced back to the 14th Century. Guidi’s line celebrates the art of tannery and prides itself on using only the highest quality leathers, keeping its artisanal processes in-house. Drawing on its history, Guidi revived the almost lost tanning technique and innovated upon it, creating leatherwork that lasts a lifetime.
