“There is always a never-ending conversation going on between each other and everyone around us: artists, musicians, students. The interaction between all the creative individuals is the basis of our work. We design by doing.”
– Sanne Schepers and Anne Bosman

Schepers Bosman
Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Schepers Bosman is a Dutch clothing company formed by fashion designers Sanne Schepers and Anne Bosman. Together, they have a collective design practice focused on research and craft. Schepers Bosman creates small-scale, artisanal clothing collections. Each piece is designed, developed and produced in an Amsterdam atelier. Schepers Bosman describes this space as “a making place, where the designer is also the artisan, enabling circular thinking and considered making.”
Sanne and Anne design their contemporary everyday wear clothing with an inclusive fit. Each pattern is drafted, fitted and finished by hand before becoming part of the collection. Pieces are often finished with visible stitch lines, sometimes in varying thread gauges, a subtle and intentional detail that speaks to their dedication to craft.
Schepers Bosman works with high-quality and durable materials, with a personal predilection for densely woven cottons and rigid denims, materials that age beautifully over time. These fabrics are sourced from responsible weaving mills in The Netherlands, Italy and England.
