Perriand handles are hand-braided by artisans outside of Florence, which is only one of a 21-step process that makes up each handle. The rope that goes inside is measured precisely to be comfortably gripped, and a hidden reinforcement can be found beneath the lining to ensure the bag feels sturdy even when the bag is carrying heavy contents.
