Renowned for their signature approach to handmade ceramics, Benoît Astier de Villatte and Ivan Pericoli have been designing home goods since 1996. They follow in the tradition of the great 18th and 19th century Parisian ceramic studios. Astier de Villatte handcrafts each of its ceramics, glassware and candles in an antique Bastille workshop in Paris, historically home to Napoleon Bonaparte's own silversmith. Astier de Villatte is now the one and only major studio to keep the tradition of artisanal ceramic production in Paris alive, with a team of only twenty ceramicists.
