The Bakhtiyari peoples are one of the largest and most prominent tribes of Iran. Living between the region of Khuzestan and Chaharmahal va Bakhtiari, they speak a dialect of Persian called Luri. Today, only a third of the tribe remains nomadic. The Bakhtiyari continue their craft tradition, often integrating fibers from the animals they travel with in their pieces.
Vintage and antique textiles have experienced a full life before making their way to our stores.
