Marni
Marni is an Italian label founded in 1994 by Consuelo and Gianni Castiglioni, an eclectic and iconic line of luxury clothing and accessories for women.
In 2016 designer Francesco Risso joined Marni as the new creative director. Risso came from Prada and likes to say he got his start in fashion at the age of nine. After being left at home alone on occasion, his parents would return to find that he had ripped apart their clothes with the intention of putting them back together in a completely different manner.
Risso's subtle and subversive design celebrates individuality through an unpredictable visual language of graphic rigor. This aesthetic is characterized by an experimental approach to materials and colors, and a unique flair for mixing prints and shapes.
