The Assemblage series, also referred to as Mohiba by the duo, is a reference to Maria's mother-in-law, who introduced the designers to the original fabric. The motifs of the original textile have since been deconstructed and reconstructed across a series of 20+ patterns, exploring the possibilities of composition through an endless reinterpretation of the source. Autumnal ginghams, Chinese florals, geometric shapes and oceanic motifs move through each assemblage, eliciting a sense of nostalgia and infinite creativity.
