Rundholz DIP: A Breath of Fresh Air

Rundholz DIP – forever the antithesis to its sister lines, Main Line and Black Label – goes punchy where the other two go soft.

Rundholz DIP

For Spring, designers Carsten and Lenka Rundholz dabble in a palette of neons: orange, red and bright lemon splash this invigorating collection.

Inspired by the laid back vibe of the Caribbean, the collection is dipped in primary colors that characterize architecture from Menton to Morelia.

Notable in this delivery is the presentation of a quintessential element in the Spring closet: the cotton tee.

Carsten and Lenka’s version uses a thick cotton jersey cut with a wide, high-low hem that drapes to the side of the body for a casual, but flattering silhouette.

Rounded, interlocking seams accent the brights of its dip-dye to create an elevated structure in this deceptively simple piece.

The simplicity of the presentation allows the central focus to be color – the core interest in Carsten and Lenka’s Rundholz DIP experimentations.

Coming out of a season characterized by dark hues and woolen fabrics, this delivery looks and feels like a breath of fresh air.
