This Christian Peau was made using golden silk, which originates from the golden-yellow wild silkworm native to Southeast Asia. Golden silk contains ample amounts of sericin, or “kenko,” revered for its moisturizing, antioxidant and UV absorption properties.

This elegant, Etruscan-inspired necklace from Melbourne-based Karen Liberman was created using the process of granulation—the act of fusing tiny gold spheres for ornamentation.
