Mehmet Cetinkaya Silk Embroidered ''Shrysbyz'' Coat in Blue and Cream

This kaftan was inspired by a 19th century Suzani from Uzbekistan. In collaboration with traditional local artisans, Mehmet Cetinkaya Gallery has carefully handcrafted this masterpiece kaftan using only natural dyes and materials. The kaftan was embroidered with silk threads using a surface-darning technique on hand-spun and handwoven silk ground. Each piece is made honoring the history of its natural tradition, with no two pieces produced exactly alike.

• Open Front
• Hand-Embroidered Using a Surface-Darning Technique
• Long Dolman Sleeves
• Twin Side Seam Pockets
• Twin Side Slits at Hemline
