Hand-Painted Recycled Metal Small Eurasian Nuthatch Bird

Why is it called nuthatch, you ask? Because of its ability to place clay or food items in an existing nest in a crevice, which it then shapes using its beak until it has the right dimensions. Those who create these metal replicas take great care in maintaining a resemblance in morphology, color and attitude to the birds they portray. They are entirely cut, stamped, welded and hand painted, in a workshop in Harare.
