Designer Francesca Ruffini, at the heart of For Restless Sleepers, creates garments that are simultaneously whimsical and dynamic. Born in Como, Italy, Europe's largest source of silk, Francesca's love for fabric was nurtured from a young age. She attended the local high school dedicated to fabric design, the only one of it's kind in Italy, and has gone on to make and create exclusively in Como. Her designs are inspired by motifs found all over the world, from traditional Navajo patterns to Danish still life flowers to Aztec geometrics.
