Italian designer Daniele Basta believes that style is an essence of spirit and identity. Born and based in Empoli, Italy, he comes from a family of leather artisans. Daniele began his career as a style consultant before starting his own collection. Finished with Daniele’s signature stitching in both metal and thread, with a Daniele Basta bag or a jacket each seam is part of the story.
Suzusan
ARIMATSU, JAPAN
The roots of the Suzusan label lie in the Japanese town of Arimatsu, where the Murase family has been refining textiles with the traditional shibori technique for over 100 years. Shibori is a traditional Japanese textile finishing technique that has been used in the country for over 400 years and involves refining fabrics through extremely intricate handwork.
