Danish designer Henrik Vibskov marches to the beat of his own drum, both literally and metaphorically. A man who wears many hats, he is not limited to simply designing fashion lines but has also ventured into interior design and plays the drums in several bands. His passion for many art forms found solace in fashion when he discovered it could encompass more than just clothing: he creates a multitude of twisted, tantalizing universes on the runway for each collection, displays that become entire performances in their own right.

As a fashion designer Henrik Vibskov has produced over 36 mens (and later also women’s) collections since he graduated from Central Saint Martins University of the Arts in 2001. Vibskov's clothing often incorporates a variety of cultural influences and is eccentric in more ways than one. His whimsical personality is vibrantly translated through his creations, all of which are pieces that boast a wonderful balance between unconventional ideas and the need to make them both practical and wearable.

Henrik’s work has garnered much acclaim, including the 2011 Söderberg Prize, the highest value design prize in the world, and the Thorvald Bindesbøll Medal, awarded by Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark in 2016. Henrik exhibits at numerous museums around the world and has also designed costumes for multiple operas and performances, including Hotel Pro Forma, the Oslo Opera House and Brussels Opera House. Henrik has published four books, including a 2012 monograph of his work to date published by Gestalten.
