Mieko Mintz
Mieko Mintz leverages her incredible design insight with her attraction to ethnic fabrics into a unrivaled collection of Kantha jackets. Since they are made from recycled cloth, not only are they extremely soft to the touch but Kanthas are also supposed to keep their wearers safe from harm. Old cloth has a magical purpose, as it is believed to symbolize prayers and ward off the “evil eye”.
