May – Elegant androgyny defines the 2011 Spring/Summer collection put forth by Dries Van Noten.

A nonchalant line is spun from a white mannish shirt, but with a feminine twist of chiffon overlay. The clothes are light, easy, and somewhat oversized, but there is also a definite feeling of fashion growing to maturity. Think smooth polished hair, with plain sunglasses drawing a geometric line across the face.  The designer’s palette of white, starting with the man’s shirt in various lengths, also embraces color and pattern. Sunset colors and abstracted flowers are used as quiet decoration for a beautifully under control, contemporary woman’s wardrobe.

April – Annette Görtz brings unexpected femininity to her 2011 Spring Collection. Subtle floral patterns masterfully incorporated into knitwear and casual dresses interject a youthful freshness to her alluringly sporty signature style.
