Arjé

Arjé is the term used by Ancient Greek philosophers to describe the essence of everything. In this spirit, Arjé is a world created for the ancient soul with a modern mind.

The founders of Arjé are the husband and wife duo Bessie Afnaim Corral and Oliver Corral. Together, they have a vision to change the rhythm of the luxury fashion industry. The two met in New York City in 2009 and together they took the reins of Donna Karan’s private label, Urban Zen. Here they worked for seven years, responsible for all facets of the brand.

Bessie Afnaim Corral was raised in London with Mediterranean roots. Trained at Parsons School of Design, she launched her career as co-head designer for Urban Zen.

Oliver Corral, a Spaniard, trained as a designer and pattern maker in Madrid under the great tailor Señor Anselmo. Oliver then perfected his skills working in lead design roles for numerous fashion brands, most notably Carolina Herrera.

When the two left Urban Zen, Arjé was born: a dynamic brand that redefines the concept of modern luxury.
