Ethical and ecological fashion master Geoffrey B. Small is notorious for his exceptional craftsmanship and fierce dedication to lead the fashion industry into a just and sustainable future. His designs are just as innovative as his philosophies and he’s been pushing design and production techniques into the future for decades. Geoffrey B. Small has shown more collections in Paris than any other American designer, is recognized by the Chambre Syndicale, and continues to lead the industry with his truly original design concepts.

In 2001 he moved his production efforts to Cavarzere, Italy, where he makes strictly limited edition collections for a very select group of buyers, only a thousand pieces per season are made. Emphasis on craftsmanship is forefront for Small. His process is intimate and each aspect of the production cycle is done entirely by hand. Each piece featured is exclusively made for Santa Fe Dry Goods.

Geoffrey B. Small came to Italy for one reason: to make and design some of the best clothes in the world. He has developed a unique network of the world’s most advanced industrial and artisanal suppliers for fabrics, components, accessories, threads and treatments, all within a maximum radius of 250km. The collections focus on limited quantity-artisanal production, maximizing long-term value to the customer. Recycling, local sourcing (using the best of today’s Made in Italy resources), maximizing levels of handwork in the product, organic hand-dyeing and treatment techniques, patchwork, historical reference and its relevance to today, are all things you will find through the Geoffrey B. Small collections.
